It’s been over 40 years since Diane von Furstenberg first created the wrap dress in 1974; and the fact we’re still talking about it today is testament to the design’s immortality. Over the decades, Furstenberg’s wrap became—and I don’t use the word lightly–iconic. However, at 25-years-old, I’ve always considered the DVF wrap to be something that, well, my mom would wear, and not a look that fits with my own sense of style.
